Originally we had planned this trip on our Harley but after it was stolen we decided to drive the coffin. I detest driving and since Rina only has a permit it has been a long day. I let her take the wheel 30min ago...these may be my last words. Cool thing is, I'm tethered to my Blackberry Pearl and writing over the dial-up connection (very cool) while listening to Dog Watch Social Club podcast.
Thieves Suck continued... So after 3 weeks I finally got my hands on the official police report for my Harley. I can only hope that the Insurance Co. doesn't completely jerk me around but it'll be another couple weeks before they fully process the claim, so it's anyone's guess.
Mental note to self: the next time you call the police, use 911, instead of 311 so that you can get the police report in 24hrs...
Disaster struck last night on my way home from work...from 2 blocks away my heart sank when I couldn't see my ride. Things only got worse when I figured out that it hadn't been towed... the pit in my stomach hasn't left.
Check it out! "Learn" Mandarin Chinese via ChinesePod's daily podcast! Can't wait to get started and see whether I can brush up. After listening to a couple lessons, the instructors seemed to have good tones and the forum seems pretty lively, so I'm all in....for the free account:o)
They also do Spanish.
GAH! My motorcycle has been out of storage for nearly 2 months, so today I decided to spend the morning washing and waxing...I should have went for a long ride instead...the new shine lasted a couple of hours, torrential down pour spoiled any chance of a good ride ***note to self*** next time you're debating whether to ride or wash...go for a ride.
That said, finally caught up with John Fiorelli from Cut & Paste - very cool kid - looking forward to stopping by his event in October...more about that later.
